September is the perfect months to throw a baseball party! All the kids (and their dads!) have baseball on mind!

Food is easy – serve hot dogs in buns, popcorn, peanuts, hot pretzels – all stadium food. Baseball is a popular theme so you should have no problem finding tablecloths, plates, cups and decorations.
Dress the birthday boy in a jersey and baseball cap. If the kids are big enough you can play a game with them, or just practice pitching for the little kids.
One talent that completely bypassed me was cake decorating. I look to make a cake that cannot be messed up by someone with no experience. I just made this cake for my son using 2 9″ round cakes. Stack the cakes on top of each other and frost using white icing. Use string licorice to make the ball threads.
